Maman à découvert une superbe tradition du nord de la Chine : la réalisation d’un « Bai Jia Bei » à savoir : patchwork des 100 voeux.
Il s’agit d’inviter 100 personnes (famille, amis, connaissances,…) à offrir un morceau de tissu accompagné d’une carte de voeux pour l’enfant à qui est destiné le quilt. C’est une façon très belle de lui souhaiter la bienvenue et lui prouver combien il est attendu, désiré, aimé et important pour beaucoup de monde.
Maman qui adore le patch aime beaucoup l’idée de rassembler ainsi tous les voeux que vous m’aurez envoyés.
Elle assemblera tous les morceaux de tissu ainsi réunis pour en faire un superbe quilt très précieux qui contiendra la chance, l’énergie et les bons voeux de toutes les personnes qui auront contribué à sa réalisation. N’oubliez pas la petite note ou la carte contenant vos voeux car elles seront assemblées dans un scrapbook que je pourrai lire toute seule dans quelques années.

1. Choisissez un morceau de tissu que vous aimez (100% coton)
2. Coupez un carré de ± 25 cm sur 25 cm + un petit morceau de ± 6 cm sur 6 cm (qui sera attaché à la carte de voeux)
