Dear Director and Nannies,
We are eagerly looking forward to adopting DU Lu Feng. Her birth date is March 15, 2004. We feel honored that we will be parents of this wonderful little girl soon. Thank you for all the love and care you have given her. By the way, if our child is in foster care, please pass the package to the foster family. We will greatly appreciate it.
We hope you and Lu Feng enjoy this photo of us. Please share these photos with her whenever possible.
We are enclosing a disposable camera in this package, hoping you might be able to take some photographs of Lu Feng at the orphanage, with her foster family, and anything that you feel may be important to us or her in the future. We will keep these pictures to share with her when she is older. They will mean so much to us. She will definitely cherish them in the future. We will get the pictures developed while we are there and send you copies, if you would like.
We deeply appreciate the time and effort you and your staff devote to helping these precious children have a good place to live and grow.
Here is a list of questions about our daughter Lu Feng. Answers to these questions will help us to make the transition easier for her. Thank you very much for taking time to answer these questions.

- (2) Has she had any health problems or allergies?
- (3) What medical treatments has she received?
- (4) What are her favorite foods and activities?
- (5) How would you describe her personality?
- (6) Does she have any likes/dislikes/sensitivities?
- (7) What makes her happy?
- (8) Is she close to a particular nanny? What is this nanny’s name?
- (9) Was a note or any other memento found with her?
- (10) Do you have her finding ad? Can we have a copy?
- (11) What else would you like to tell us about her?
- (12) Does the orphanage need anything in particular?
We have enclosed the following items:
1) A camera, 2) a teddy bear for Lu Feng, 3) our photo for Lu Feng.
Please use all the exposures in the camera to take pictures of Lu Feng and the orphanage. Please give the teddy bear to Lu Feng so when we come to adopt her, she has something familiar to play with. Bring the camera, teddy bear and answers to the above questions at adoption time.
